Dr. Solange Ashby is currently a President’s Postdoctoral Fellow at UCLA and in 2022 will be joining the faculty of Near Eastern Languages and Cultures at the University of California, Los Angeles. She is a founding member of the William Leo Hansberry Society. Dr. Ashby’s research centers on Nubian women in religion and ancient myth.
