Description

Reports to the Office of the State Archaeologist (OSA) research directors. Performs field investigations, laboratory analyses, and prepares reports in accordance with project needs, established guidelines, and in coordination with the research director and project staff. Frequent in-state travel is required. Exercises functional supervision of field and lab technicians as assigned to specific project teams.  This position also requires the physical ability to work and walk outside all day in all weather conditions carrying heavy loads while conducting field survey and excavation.

Work Modality: Hybrid work within Iowa.
