I heard about this back when I worked in Fredericksburg in 2004. It's incredible that this is actually happening. I can't wait to see what it looks like since the National Museum of the American Indian is the newest and, arguably, best of the Smithsonian Museums. The museums on the national mall are only getting better. The African American Museum is going to be awesome!

I'm currently interning at the NMAAHC and the Groundbreaking was an amazing experience. I can't wait for the building to be complete in 2015.
